Romeo and Juliet has always been our biggest seller. It is a great play for grade nines. Combined with the teacher/director guide, an English teacher or Drama director needs no other resources to study or mount the play. Unabridged, Romeo and Juliet is a long play, and is always heavily cut for films. As is usual, the Nurse and the Friar are the most heavily abridged. They retain all their scenes and plot purposes, but are no longer suffered to smother the play with character-acting.
