Thought-verse
Verse and prose was cut in the creation of the series. All the 70% of the text that remained, was placed back on the page as the actor thinks - in thought-verse.  The ends of lines are determined by the connectivity of the thoughts and the width of the page and are NOT controlled by rhythm.

Print to Compare the iambic pentamter verse and the slightly abridged thought-verse of Hamlet's "Rogue and peasant slave." Try reading them both aloud, and consider which form would help your students speak Shakespeare, aloud.
